Project Information

After making a few for other people, I decided I should have one for myself :)

12" x 12" x 1.75" - Maple and Coracao de *************************.

Again, nothing too out there design-wise (if you're interested in 'out there' might I suggest checking out SPalm's stuff whoa…)

Guess it's time to go make dinner!

Side Note: Much unlike bloodwood, coracao de ************************* smells WONDERFUL when you're working it. I don't mean wonderful as in that great woody smell… I mean it smells like cookies… seriously. I'm going to make everything out of this stuff… and probably go incredibly broke in the process.

thanks everyone!

Randy - I'm not 100% sure… the board that I used was something that had been sitting under my friend's bed for the last 6 years (no joke)... I'm trying to find more, because I love it. Delicious cookie wood.

Sweet. That board has a nice Guy look to it. I like it.

I gotta get me to the wood store (parenthetically speaking).

Thanks Steve! It's definitely a guyish piece… It was made from scraps, and I barely finished it… I just planed the top, and didn't bother to sand it… Because it's for me, and I could care less :)

Where do you buy your wood? Do you source it locally, or get it online? I've been attempting to find a good source in south Chicagoland… Because buying online is owning me on shipping…
