This is another of my wine box carriers. I have made several different kinds of these and really enjoy giving them to friends. The top of course forms a cap. This is sycamore with cherry for the fins. It looks almost identical to oak but without the open grain.

This and your other projects are really impressive, both from original thinking and craftsmanship. I really liked the airport control tower wine box (, that must have been time consuming to manufacture.

Thanks for response guys, it was a fun project. I did want to say that the main body was put together as an eight sided piece and then the outside turned round on my lath. The top was a solid piece turned and then drilled out to accommodate the top of the bottle.
