So, very similar to my last project only I changed theses ones up a little bit. They’re both identical to each other as far as profile only I swapped the cherry out for walnut with each other. The reddish wood highlight is padauk just to really make these pop. And for the lids I had carved each of their names in their box. The cherry with walnut inserts is Chloes and the cherry with walnut inserts is Masons. Both are finished with 3 coats of glossy water based poly. Now to prep them for the flight back to Ontario. Fingers crossed I hope they like them!

Mark, I like your work. The inset accents and rim inlays are a nice touch and really add to the look of your boxes. Good choices in wood colors and corner splines. Keep boxing and keep posting. I don’t know how old the kids are, but boxes built to hold tea bags do a great job of holding Pokemon cards and card decks. All you need to do is add dividers.

These boxes are so beautiful and they have a lot of wonderful details that make them outstanding eye catchers. They also display fine design and craftsmanship.

Hi Marky
Chloe and Mason’s boxes are simply amazing, the details came out perfect, you put in such great effort and nothing says it better than ‘My Daddy made this for me’
I hope you and your family are all keeping well
Fantastic work Mark, thanks for sharing

I really like these. The accents are great and change them from routine boxes to extra ordinary boxes. I am sure they will like them and treasure them.
