This is my version of an old stool chair dating from 1890. I produce it as a kit to be assembled. It is made out of oak, all the parts and accessories are supplied and all the parts are machined and ready to put together. After assembly, you can stain it and or varnish it as you want. A real fun project.

That’s pretty cool. I like the ability to change from chair to ladder and still look good as both.

From the 1890’s? What a cool idea. Does the seat ( the part that folds down) pinch the butt if you lean back I wonder? What does the kit sell for?

Cool! Is there anything that locks it into either position, so when you pick it up to move it it does not start to unfold on you?
Nice work.

That’s a neat idea. My father in law makes one that turns from a bench into an ironing board. Transformers!

When use as a chair, there is a ball catch that hold it close.
Thank you!

Great piece, well finished. Looks too good to use as a stool but it does have that practical aspect.

Nice work it looks great. Where can I find a kit? Actually planned on purchasing one of these chairs a while ago, now it would be nice to have when my daughter is a just abit older to start helping in the kitchen.
