Bungee Cord Organizer

For years I’ve been meaning making the bungee cord organizer I saw in a magazine. Finally done!

All I needed was a length of PVC pipe and the one I had on hand was 3’’ in diameter. This is a relic from my shop central dust collection system. I used 1-1/4’’ Forstner bit in the drill press and a V cradle dedicated to hold rond pieces.

I cut the pipe according to the length of the longest bungee cord from my arsenal. I drilled holes according to the dimensions of the bungees. Different holes for different lengths. I’m now able to store all my arsenal of bungee cords.

Note that the carrying handle is included.

NB: This is not made out of wooid, but this is meant to deal with wood from any wood suppliers.

More details and pictures on this page of my website.

Best,

Serge

Good one Serge.
I’m cleaning up my life fight now and I need all the help I can get for organizing.
I have mine in a box right now—- not good as I found out yesterday trying to tie down a load in my van.

That sure beats the heck out of my box that I throw all of mine in. Cool idea. You can actually find the length you need without having to pull all of them out of the box.

Cool idea, I ended up throwing all of mine away because they always sat in the car trunk
in bundled knots. Next time I buy some I’ll know what to do with them,!!!

Good Idea, You could shove them all in a plastic container like I do but then you have to take everyone out to find the right length and to untangle the hooks.

A bungee jump emergency kit! I call this a clamp tube (bungee cords used as clamps for certain projects). Keep up the sharing.
