Shaker Clock

An old project I came across again. It was originally a plan from Wood Magazine that had spalted maple for the bottom panel. The movement is an atomic clock I get from Klocket that is accessible from the back. I liked the look of glass for the top and bottom so that you could display small objects. I made 3 of these. One was walnut, another was cherry and my favorite is the lead picture made of quarter sawn doug fir! The grain is just super straight on that piece. I liked it so much that, I kept that one! Fun project was complicated and early enough for me to push my skills forward.

Thanks. The ones I didn’t keep went to a charity auction and the other to my sister. No one wants to pay the tariff to own one… ;0)

Great looking clock. That will compliment any room and make quite a conversation piece. Great work, later, BTKS
