Hi, this is another Hackberry bowl from my sisters tree. The bowl is small, measures 5 inches across and 2 3/8
tall. I really enjoyed making this one and is one of my favorites so far, but I wish I would of took a little more time sanding, because I noticed a few area’s after I finished it that showed up as dark streaks, but other than that I’m very pleased with this bowl.

Ron, I admire the shape you gave this beautiful piece. I like the sloped rim and narrow foot. it’s lovely.

The bowl looks real nice. The grain pattern is spectacular. You make some beautiful bowls.

Nice bowl. I would have never thought the inside would so different from the outside. Great work again.

Very nice. Hackberry is a very unappreciated wood. When presented properly, as in this bowl, it is quite attractive.

thanks for the good comments guys, but good or bad are welcome. I am new to this , so I want to learn anything I may be overlooking.

Michelletwo, I remeasured the bowl and found that it is actually 2 3/8, so it is a 1/4 taller than first posted. I got to looking at it and thought that has to be taller than 2 1/8, well the ruler I measured it with did’nt start at the end and I deducted instead of added to the measurement the first time. :)
