A couple of years ago I downloaded a trial of Sketchlist software, which is geared more towards cabinet design than Sketchup. I started designing this TS Cabinet, didn’t finish it, then the trial period ended, and the software is too expensive to buy. At least I took screenshots of the design… Now I have to switch over to Sketchup to finalize the design, or I may try working from all the screenshots I took of the original design.

My plan is to completely enclose the Delta 10” TS and provide a chute underneath it to facilitate DC. I put the router table to left of the saw, because I already have a Benchdog extension there. A chute under that for DC – see hole in 3rd picture. Not very clear is a swing-up outfeed table (just visible in the 3rd picture). The trench between the TS and the outfeed table is for my Excaliber fence, which has a rear rail. The sections on the right of the saw are for drawers and for storing various jigs (crosscut sleds, etc.).

I saw an idea on LJ for a “shroud” that goes over the bottom of the blade (4th picture) – sorry, I can’t find the original post to give credit – and I’m wondering if this would be a better idea than enclosing the whole saw. I also intend to make an over-the-blade collector.

Just sharing…
