Segmented Bowl

This bowl has a base of Bubinga. The main body is Sapele, and the rim is Walnut, Maple and Bloodwood. By cutting the Maple and Bloodwood at an angle, the gentle curve can be introduced during the turning.

The bowl is fairly deep, standing over 6” tall and is a little over 9” in diameter. The finish is Tung Oil

Very niced bowl. I reall like the combo of the wood you used. My first bowl I turned was a segmented bowl that I did in school over 30 years ago. My mom still has it..

Great job! Love the choice of woods you used. They really show wonderful figure and grain.
