This is my first mallet project. I found a block of wood that wasnt square and thought that would look good for the head of the mallet. I finished it with boiled linseed oil. For my first mallet project, I am happy with the way it turned out.

I like the grooves, nice job. I can think of several good uses for it!!!!

Nice mallet, looks something like a gavel. If you ever make a new one you could sell this one to a judge. “Order in the court.” LOL
