Built a natural edge slab table to be used as a portable bar in a friends man cave. Used a laser engraver to burn his initial into the middle of the slab. Formed the base out of 1” black pipe. Very fun and different project for me. Not really a lot of woodworking involved here to be honest, but still some fun in the shop and a great time delivering to the “man cave in the woods”.

Well done, and nice looking wood.
I envy you for having such a large working area

Boy, what I would give to have the space you have! And flat floors!
And that is a beautiful piece of wood and you did it justice!

Thanks for the kind words, everyone. Unfortunately that is not my workshop in the photos. That is actually the man cave where the table will live. I completed the top of the table in my shop (which is a fraction of the size of my friend’s 40’ x 40’ man cave), and then I left the legs off until I got to the man cave because it was easier to transport everything for the 2 hour drive.

This is an impressive piece and the slab is so beautiful.
