Another Judy Gale Roberts pattern and had a opportunity to visit her gallery last week, one word Awsome. Just finished this one tonight and I had a real hard time with the wood color. I avoid doing any staining on any of my projects and use just the wood colors. I had a very hard time finding the right wood for this one that would go from a light to dark in the same piece of wood. If anyone has a suggestions for a exotic wood source in the NC/Tenn/SC region, I will thank you in advance. This piece is made of teak, curly maple, ebony, poplar, walnut, cherry, canary wood, red oak, and again no stain. First one I have gotten to oportunity to sell for $$$ as a special order!!
Thanks for looking,
Kory

Have you thought of entering this in the fluidity contest? I sure see movement in that elephant! Beautiful color matching. Masterful intarsia work.

Thats really cool, you do wonderful work.
I just met Judy this past weekend at the World Scroll Saw Expo in Wilmington Ohio she had some awesome work and she was a really nice lady. Did you take any of her classes? I have heard they are really good.
I will be posting on my blog all to great pictures I took so feel free to go take a look.
