At the weekend I performed an interesting project for a friend. He asked for a splitting board with a hole. The board is mounted in the kitchen drawer. Below is a garbage. All waste through the hole is dumped into the trash

Love the concept, but it is removable for cleaning, correct?

Now that is a sweet and novel idea. I love it. it sure makes sense!!!!!!!!
I made the table for my metal lathe in the barn like that with a big hole behind the lathe and a bucket underneath.

I agree with all the comments – great idea! How much does the cutting board weigh? Heavy duty slides?
