First a big thanks to franklad for the inspiration to attempt to make some bentwood rings. Unfortunatly all I really did was glue my finkers to little pieces of wood. So I thought why not practice a little on something a little bigger. That is when the bentwood bracelet was born. This one is 36in of East India Redwood with three coats of wipe on poly. Thanks for looking I look foreward to all your comments.

Kate-The one on my pinky is one of my few successes. A little cocobola ring finisged with C.A.
Hi Woodenfrog It weighs next to nothing. The wood was very thin when I bent it. Its three layers wrapped over its self. Its 1.5 inchers wide with a radius diamater of 2 3/4.
I think I am going to try to give it a C.A finish on the next one.
thanks for looking.

Thankyou for all the kind comments.
RayCurtis I actually used turning stock from woodcraft. I cut very thin slices on my little table saw and wrapped it around a mold that was the size of one of the wife’s bracelets. it turned out to be a spray paint can. I covered the can in wax paper and gently wrapped the strip around the mold and glued it up as I went. If you check out franklad’s posts on making a bentwood ring he gives better instructions than I do. His rings are awesom I still wnat to make a good one.
