I have made this table from reclaimed oak. The legs are painted RAL 9001. The table top is treated with a lye in combination with white chalk powder. After the chalk was dry and rubbed off it has got a lacquer finish.

Really nice project, and it really stands out with the darker furniture.
Are the painted legs metal or wood, it doesn’t matter but just wondering.

Beautiful top Dutchy. Checked out your WOCA DEMNARK link above and watched their video (beats reading). I was apprehensive after painting but was impressed after it dried and “sanded/polished”. I can now understand your great finish/colour…

Another top job and as crowie said (or something to the effect)... straight out of a show room!
