Made a Connect 4 game yesterday. It’s been a while since I’ve used MDF on a project. I really need to use it more often for painted pieces. It’s such a dream to work with.

Here’s my video on the project.

Now THIS sure does bring back memories! My brother and I use to play this game together as kids…although ours was the cheesy yellow plastic grid with the black and red “checkers”. This one is WAYYYYYYY cooler : )

Great fun Steve, I don’t know how it will compete with Wii but I’d rather play a game I know, than one I have to take classes for.

Mike, now there’s an idea. A Wii version of Connect 4. Haha…minutes of fun!

Great project. I might make a different number of discs, though.
2 colors of 21 – for two players
1 color of 14 – for three players. Use 14 each of the 1st 2 colors
1 color of 11 – for four players. It doesn’t work out even here so they would need figure a fair way of who goes first and second.

Yeah, I think in retrospect I would have just made two colors. My son and I played yesterday and we each ran out of our ten disks, so we used the others too. I took blue and green, he used red and yellow.
