This is a knotty alder shoe changing bench i made for my customer. I used semi gloss lacquer for the finish. I had fun building this project. My customer was very happy with it.

There will be a cushion put on top provided by customer.

Looks nice, my sister wants a bench to serve the same purpose. I just have to find one that fits the style of their home. I like the little edge on the top to hold a cushion, good idea.
