My deck was looking really bad, old worn and tried to paint some concrete paint stuff that was an outright failure. So… I started replacing all the deck boards and the railings and then decided the balusters were tired looking also and decided to go with stainless steel cable. Wife loves it!

Nice work on the cables. I used them on my deck for some railings I made and was really happy with their function and near invisibility.

Looks really nice. I’m jealous of that land and pond.

Very nice rehab! Where did you get your cable supplies?

I scoured the web for different options and the cheapest I could find of the nicer hardware was going to cost me around 2K. So, I kept looking and found the hardware I used on Amazon. It cost me a few hundred for all including the tools.

Have your say...
