Rocking horse made from construction grade 2×10 from big box store. One of my first bandsaw projects.

It’s realy beautiful. I have small nephews, now I have idea what to make them for birthadays someday.

I have the same plans but not built yet. Did you bolt / screw the legs on to make it easier to get everything aligned during glue up? I was thinking of doing the same thing.

Mark, I used carriage bolts for the legs to body for strength, hoping it gets ridden hard by the young rider! I also used star drive ledger lags for the rockers to stringers and legs to stringers with button caps to cover. I attached the stringers to the rockers, the four legs to the stringers, and then clamped the body in between the legs to get the alignment right, drilled through legs and body and inserted carriage bolts one by one, etc. I may have a few more in progress photos that I can add.
