My son had mentioned that his in laws were going to remodel their kitchen but were rather shocked when they seen the prices of new cabinets and asked could I help them out. I told him I’d love too. After talking to them and figuring out what all they really wanted we went to the shop and this is what they wanted but I threw in a few upgrades that they hadn’t seen before and didn’t know was an option. The carcass of the cabinets and door panels are 3/4” oak plywood. The face frames for the cabinets and door frames are poplar since they wanted to paint them. Also the shelves in the cabinets each have a bottom on slider hinges so they pull out for easy access to everything. Also not pictured in a spice shelf that is U shaped just above the stove and a etched glass panel door just above the microwave. They were tickled with the way everything turned out. Thanks for looking

UGH painted over wood… But you did a great job. Curious what GLUE you used for the doors rails and styles and panels?

ALSO the doors seem to use raised panels but it seems to be PLYWOOD? Is that possible?

Hoss those look terrific. We’re just starting a fairly big addition at my house, and included is going to be a new kitchen… I know what you mean about the price of cabinets- outrageous! I love the pull-out drawers, and there seems to be a ton of storage space, which will definitely fill up soon.

great work as always

Really great job Hoss. Not everyday someone offers to make new cabinets for them. They look nice and the design fits well. I can see a Thanksgiving dinner from this one.

WOw, Hoss, that is awesome! Those color combinations between the counter top, back splash and the cabinets is really beautiful.

This job must have really filled up the shop!

Great looking work and lots of nice details. I only wonder how they deal with no prep counter next to the stove. My wife would have a hemorrhage.
