Couple of Hickory goblets I decided to try from my sisters hickory branches she gave me, One had a little warp around the stem and the other warped a bit around the the knots in the cup area. Both were fun, but I plan on drawing out the shape I want next time and maybe make something a little larger, but I really like this hickory, it has been a pleasure to work with.

I think they are great just the way they are. Lots of character. I like using wood that has been given to me too. It adds a little something.

The both of them are so unique, they are very nice looking pieces.

Hickory is SO beautiful. I really like your goblets. Great job – and nice finish, too!

-- I've never seen a tree that I wouldn't like to repurpose into a project. I love the smell of wood in the morning - it smells like victory.
