The beam for the arbor was cut from a dead pine tree, 6”x8”x150”. The 2”x8” cross pieces were bought from Home Depot. The plan is to grow a flowering vine on it.

Looks good. Hope you post a photo once the vine is up and flowering.

Really cool use of existing landscape. Most people would have cut the trees down and sank 6×6 posts. Nice job on this.

It will look real nice with some trumpet vine or a climbing rose.
