This was the first bed I made. I routed a plow in the form of an arch across the center panel of the hb and fb, then shaped a piece of wood to fit into it while accenting it with a cove detail. I also like using open space as a design feature.

Very nice work. I would like to start a bed project but am not very creative. Meaning I have to follow a plan. This is a very nice looking bed. Is it your own plan or did you get it somewhere? Hopefully as I get more experience I will gt more creative. Unfortunately I am black and white not GRAY.

Wow…I envy your design skills! This is really beautiful, and I absolutely love the richness in color you brought out in your finishing. What type of wood is it made out of? It’s a little hard to tell in pictures…but my guess is mahogany.

Oh duhhh….I just noticed that you put down Mahogany as one of the project tags, lol! Well, I made a good guess then : )
