I had a few concepts in mind when I was designing this piece.

-The legs. I really wanted to shape some legs that flowed gently with out being over powering.

-The colors. I’d been wanting to make a two tone piece that had very dark accents, framing lighter sections that had beautiful wood-grain.

-The top. I’d been saving a thick plank of Mahogany for just the right project. This piece gave me the opportunity to resaw it and display it’s beauty appropriately with out having to run a profile or an edge detail around it.

-The beads around the apron. They give a classic and clean finished look to it.

All in all I really enjoyed designing and making this piece, and I hope you enjoy it too.

Super design and execution. The angle joinery must have been quite a challenge.

Very well done.
