We’ve been gathering things to donate to Goodwill, & came upon this manger scene.

I had made this quite some time ago. ( Approximately, 1982 )

We thought this would be nice to share with LJs.

This is my own design, but anyone can copy this if they’d like to.

The size of the bottom piece is 14 1/2” wide, by 8” deep.

The side pieces are 8” wide, & 8” high at the peak

I carved the star out of White pine, it’s 4” high by 2” wide.

The figures are ceramic. I had made some wooden silhouettes, but can’t locate them right now.

This piece isn’t going to Goodwill.

I really like this piece. It makes one stop and think about the events and austerity of this truly magnificent event. Thanks for posting. BTKS

It is really beautiful! It looks like it should be a family treasure for you to keep. The cypress is so appropriate for the project and it really brings a beautiful mood into the piece. What a great find to come across after so many years!

Very nice Manger scene Dick, my wife collects them and we have thirty that stay up all year long, then the special ones that come out at Christmas. I don’t dare let her see this one.
