Sorry about the photo being 90 degrees off.
I have a shoulder injury that prevents me from reaching the stock throttle on my bike, so I built an auxiliary throttle which I can easily reach. The grip here is made from Australian Banksia Pod, it has a half inch bore with an aluminum rod inserted for stability. The whole contraption works very well. I have had it on for about five years now but just recently installed the bank see a pod throttle

I use to ride myself and this is totally out of the box and beautiful in every way. What made you decide to use Australian Banksia Pod?

I have a few do-dads made from the pod laying around. So when I decided to make a new throttle, one of my pods jumped up and said hello.

Banksia pod throttle grips. Very unique and I would have never thought of it. Really cool…
