I am currently renovating the furnishings of ST. Bernard Parish. The shops is always busy and not always as neat as it appears in the back ground of the attached photos. As with many (Actually All) on this site, my passion is working with wood from carving, cabinet making, and turning. My trademark is that all of my cabinets will also contain some form of Stained glass art work. It is one more of my passions. The two mediums go very well together and if lit properly, add so much beauty to a home or in this case, a church! :) His blessings abound in creativity and skill.

enjoy your talent and keep creating!

That is some really nice work. When i was younger our family did a lot of hunting and fishing down in St. Bernard Parish. We had 2 camps and also kept a boat at Blackie Campo’s boat launch. Good memories…

Wow – very nice work. I’m especially impressed with the scroll work and carving picture. Please post some of your work that includes stained glass. I try to incorporate stained glass in my work as much as I can afford to have made for me since I have no aptitude to do that kind of work.

nice work PEL! who are the saints in pic 3?
I’ll guess St Bernard on right, and St Louis de Montfort on left.

tomb8, it’s St Bernard Parish WI, not La, therefore not “Da Parish.”

For those who are still confused, St Bernard Parish in La, is simply referred to as “Da Parish”, in a boastful way as to impart it’s the best most important Parish and all others are simply second rate. It’s in good fun though.

Thanks to all those who have reviewed my posts. I have found this site to be very hospitable, warm and welcoming. I’ve stated previously that it isn’t often we find a place where no one is criticized or harshly treated for ideas, creativity or passion. It supports , builds and encourages the consummate woodworkers and for that, I appreciate you all very much. Kindred is a good title for this site as we all are! Thanks…much

Pel004 – keep posting and lend any positive feedback you see that will assist me in my work.

Blessings to all.

I’m guessing St. John Vianney on the left. In fact, I’m pretty positive. Great work, Pel004!
