This is a wine box that was made for my son and his bride for their wedding day. I want to give fellow LJ Tooch a huge shout out and THANK YOU for making the panels with laser engraving for me. Thanks buddy! This box was made from curly maple and the wood chips inside are from various little pieces of wood that I’d saved over the years, from Haley making a pen out of part of a piece of cedar, or part of a board from the old house where the kids were raise or the old barn that the kids had worked in growing up and many other things and experiences it was all explained on the note cards that were inside the box. The box was a big hit with everybody. Thanks for looking and can’t say enough how much I appreciated Tooch help me out with the beautiful panels.

Great job with the box. That Tooch is a alright guy. That’s a cool idea of using different woods from their past.

Man, that came out beautifully brother. The symbolic nature of the shavings really add to the meaning conveyed by your craftsmanship. And the cool laser engraving added a lot to it too.
My best wishes for the happy couple for a long loving life together.
They are lucky to have an accomplished craftsman like you in the family.
That box will be an heirloom for many, many years to come.
