Hello again LJ-ers, you all know that Christmas is just around the corner and for the woodworker that means presents and orders are flowing in. Here is one of those projects for a family member and I hope you like it, as it is my first one ever. The wood is reclaimed maple and I was told that the handle is an ambrosian maple (not sure on that one as it isn’t very red). The finish is butcher block oil that I’m very happy with and will use again and the dimensions are: 5 inches on the handle with the front part at 18 inches wide and 22 inches in height. Thanks for looking!

Beautiful. Love the reclaimed Maple, especially the dark at the top. Makes it very unique, one of a kind.

The paddle itself does look like it has ambrosia maple in it and the handle could be another variety of maple with curl. Whatever it is, it has a ton of chatoyance in it. nicely done.

Looks great! Is the handle long enough when a pizza it on the board? (Looks short in the pictures)
