I made this bread box as a wedding gift for a friend. The box measures 17×12. The box is made from Spanish Cedar with a polar bottom.
My kids used a variety of metal objects to distress the wood and give it an aged look.

Great job! And you did the Longhorn’s ears right not the droopy pointed ears (pointed droopy ears show the Brahma influence after the Civil War or so).

Nice bread box, did you notice that the knott holes on the ends looks kinda like some cattle on the range?
