My brother-in-law not only just returned from Iraq from something like his 4th tour but he also made full Colonel recently. So I made this scoll sawed plaque for him to display in his new “big whig” office. 1/4 inch cutouts on a 1/4 backer board. Stained with yellow oak and mahogony. Still new at this scroll sawing but had a good time trying. Took me about 4 hours start to finish.
Thanks for taking a look.
Brian

I wouldn’t have guessed this was scroll work, which is a good thing. Very well done. Contrat’s to him for the promotion to full bird! From one Vet to another, god bless!

Boy o’ boy. Thanks Monty for pointing out my oversight. I always try to make sure I give credit to the folks who design some of these pieces as they truly deserve the recognition. Lord knows I’m not that talented yet. I did use a template that I got (I think) from the Scroll Saw Workshop.
Thank you for all the nice comments. We are very proud of him and all the men and women who serve to protect this wonderful country.
