Buenos Dias from northern New Mexico…...

a goodly part of yesterday was spent in my soon to be enlarged shop area…...... manufacturing a roll around cart.
I have deemed it multi purpose as my intentions are to use it for ….storage…......a portable work area…..and as a table saw outfeed table

a few weeks ago…....I was at the Habitat Restore and found the 2 kitchen cabinets ($15.00 ea) and a formica table
($8.00)......the only other cost was the 3 inch castors…......the rest was scrap.

the cabinets were secured to a 2×4 frame (a little over size for stability) ........top installed (with an overhang in the back to allow for knee room when sitting ) .......a little paint to be applied and voila…....my crude but functional all purpose cart!!!

Thanks for looking….....Adios …...until the next time.

-- Doug, New Mexico.......the only stupid question is one that is never asked!........don't fix it, if it ain't broke!

Sweet. Good scrounging.

At first I thought this was a fireplace with a fire inside. I guess that is one bright sun in AZ.

Makes good sense and mighty useful Doug.
That’s what I call taking what’s available and putting it to good use.
Nice job!

You and David seem to have an eye for what is available and how to make use of items others would pass by unnoticed.

Great recycling of pieces. Love looking around the local Restore in my area. Currently redoing a bathroom and working on some deck furniture with Restore items,

Nice One Doug! I’m looking to build a couple of “Roll Around Equipment Tables” and it never dawned on me to take a run up to the Used Furniture Place and do what you just did. Good Thinking!

I’m on my way!!

Thank You Brother!
