heres a little different twist to wainscoting. as far as i know its my own design as ive never seen it done like this . i had a customer who wanted something a little ” different ” . so when i mentioned this idea she really lit up . i actually built 2 panels right on my shop wall first to see if i could pull it off and how time consuming it would be so i could price it out fairly. and also to give her a clear example of what it would look like . its all done in poplar with birch ply in the panels. applied basecap moulding for the trim . the moulding was a real challenge . some time haveing to trim off some too small to measure if the piece was a little too big eyeball it and hope !

Nice work Mr Trim. Love the thick look of the design. You do great work, you’ve got some pretty fortunate customers.

thanks everyone .
BRAD a lot of trips is very much an understatement ! i shoulda had some kinda mileage binder in the contract !
shaun thanks for the great compliment however i consider my self the fortunate one . i did a lot of years of hangin doors , runnin baseboard and crown and all the “grunt ” stuff . now im lucky enough to get to do mostly ” fun ” stuff . i actually enjoy the design end of it more than the actual work !
