Ok well I’m back again. I put a post in the forums with no anwsers, so I did some research on glider rockers since I had a customer want one. I slightly modified the chair built a simple sub- frame added the glider arms and its a wrap, but wait was my math that good or did I just get lucky with the glider arm placement. A little of both I think, seeing how it came out as a very smooth glider. So please check out the pics and as always I’m open to suggestions! Only thing left is to apply the finish, Cabot’s australian timber oil in mahogany flame!

nice design! Nice looking Chair. It appears to be a simple build once you get the chair made?

It looks real comfortable and works. I’d call it a successful build and since you’ve hit on a useable formula, you may want to do this again. Thanks for sharing.

That looks easy enough. Good job.

Sorry, no one got around to getting you an answer the first time but you did a great piece of work.

Goodlooking chair, Should look real good oncethe small nail holes are filled and sanded. What kind of finish will be applying? Nice work.

Looks good, I have some chairs myself I would not mind converting to a glider.

Have your say...
