My first project. Made from solid Mahogany. Morris and tenon frame with dovetails on drawer.
Made a lot of mistakes. Overall I’m happy because the wife was happy. She is the main critic anyway.

Many thanks to all those that have commented on this project. The kind words were very much appreciated. Some of you requested that I post some additional pictures, so here they are.
I would like some feedback on how I did the slides. I couldn’t think of any other way. I put a vertical 3/4inch wide “stick in the drawer to act as a stop. It doesn’t let the drawer fall open or pull out. Anyone have a better way to do it? I could use some advice if possible.
I also had a hell of a time with cutting the dovetails. It looks so much easier on YouTube.
Thanks Again. Any suggestions are welcome.

The photo shown looks great. Nice beading around the drawer. Nice raised panel. What’s the chance of some more pics showing the interior and drawer construction? If this is indeed your first first project, you should be definitely be proud! Was it hand tools or power tools?
