my wife had asked me to make this table that she had seen in american journal i believe and so i gave it a shot and this is how it turned out. she wanted walnut and nothing else. difficult areas were the rule joints(routing these seems to be too much trouble, apparently you need an offset base because the router kept tipping or maybe it’s just my unsteady hands) . my final thickness was 7/8” for the top and my legs were 3” squared, aprons were 7/8” too. i got lazy an bought the leaf supports instead of making my own as the plan needed. anyway, it’s my first drop leaf so enjoy it with me. Oh! she didn’t complain so i think that’s good
