Made these 4 hairsticks one night this week. Some new colors that I have not worked with before. In the first picture, Green and Black, Pink and Black, Red, White and Blue (old color), Orange and Black. The pins are around 3/4 inch at the widest point, they feature a double taper. I am told that the double taper helps to hold them in the hair. The largerst is 7 1/2 inches long, and the smallest one, the Orange one is 6 1/4 long. All have a section that the hair gets wrapped on of 5 1/4 inch. And for those of you who don’t know what a hairstick or hair needle is, it is a decorative stick that someone who has long hair wraps up their hair with in a bun and sticks it with one of these hairsticks. The last picture is of my wife who stole the first one that I did, and has been using it almost everyday since. They are fun to make. Haven’t been selling them yet, but hope to. All sticks are finished with 5 coats of sprayed on conversion varnish, and are very smooth and hard. Thanks for your comments, questions and the fact that you took time to look.

Great job Mike! Wish my wife’s hair was long enough for these. They all look great, but the green is my favorite color.
Keep it up.

Very nice hair sticks!! Thanks for sharing.
Find a hair salon to display them and I’ll bet you start getting orders for them. They are very attractive!
