Looks nice. I would build some but that would be leading the birds to a slaughter. The cats would think of it as a Buffet House!!! Told my wife last week I was going to make a slat for the cats to sleep on just off the ground on the fence. Above would be a sign. “NO BIRDS Trespassers will be EATEN!” Think that will be a project I post….

This birdhouse is a teal eye catcher. Nice worker!

Now that is a nice bit of woodworking (per se).... and I love the support of conservation, beyond reproach.

HOWEVER, being plagued by birds (in the roof) for the last 7 years… I do not distribute points for deployment.

Sorry if I have offended F’M’, but after so many years, one needs to vent their frustration to our ”friendly” feathered antagonists.

Fortunately, your visitors will not fly across the Pacific just to nest in my roofline, but I have local imports to fill the quota.

PS. My neighbour built a birdhouse… it’s being used as an afternoon toilet before I am subjected to the feather ruffling in my roof afterwards (and their bowels were NOT empty).

Since the flood we have extra spiders and roaches. We have treated the house, but keeping up is a challenge. We have had this problem once before and the natural solutions was more small birds around the house. Hopefully it will work again.

Have your say...
