ive had a painting done by my sister since this past march and wanted to make a different type of frame for it..its not a big project but it fits my home motif and it was fun to make…im certainly more proud of my sisters art ability and she has done many paintings for me…this frame is made of oak , the small cut outs of the bears are dog wood and the tree’s are walnut..and then the top has some arrow heads…the piece on the bottom was suppose to be my take on some mountains with the dog wood in the back looking like snow…but they didnt turn out…and so far one comment from a friend was…is that a canoe…so it will be whatever you want it to be…lol…thanks for looking …grizzman

The rustic frame is perfect for a wilderness picture. Those arrowheads look real, are they? Your sisters painting really captures the landscape well there. I especially like the detailed work on the trees in the background. I’m very sorry to hear that your health problems are causing you so much consternation, and I hope you will somehow overcome them.

Great job Bob. Beautiful picture and enhanced gracefully by your frame. You have an artists eye.

Your rustic style compliments your sister’s art work. They fit together so well.
