This is a table and chairs that I built for my daughter. We looked at buying, but over $100 for mdf junk just didn’t seem like a good deal.

$24 of Pine and pocket screws and a couple of days after work, and she is happy.

great looking table and chairs…what finish did you use? did you tapper the legs?

I’d say based on that smile in the first pic it is a project well done.

Now you did it. That smile and the knowledge that my Daddy can make anything I want can lead to bedroom
sets, cedar chests and other assorted goodies, but the best part is the fun you get to have making it. The
furniture is almost as nice as the daughter. Keep up the good work and have fun.

It is boiled linseed oil and poly. The legs aren’t tapered, just plain. Yeah, I was going for speed. The wife would have been happy without a finish as long as the little one got to play with it faster.
