I made this for the same company i did the Media Editing Table for. The exterior is 3/4” mdf covered in Nevamar laminate and the trim is Maple. I did a purposeful reveal at all 4 corners so the unit could be unscrewed and disassembled from the inside corner junctions in order to get it in the room. The top and crown mould are a seperate cap that just sits down on top of it. The door is made from a solid core slab and was weatherstripped for noise reduction.
For the interior walls i covered it with 1/2” mdf on site and someone else glued all the sound baffling insulation on all surfaces and added carpet on the floor.

Thats cool, I could use one of these next door for my neighbors daughter. She sings all day and it drives us nuts!

Nice project I had a friend years ago who built one of these so he could wail away on his sax in a small apartment. I have not sean one since. Thanks for that memory.
