I tend to feel like I never get anything accomplished. Too many projects, not enough time:) But I was looking around my living room the other day and realized that I do have some finished projects.

The first is a large mirror (it is about 48”x42”). When we bought this house there was this mirror in the unfinished basement bathroom. I decided it would look better upstairs. It is a stack of mouldings; mdf chair rail on top of mdf baseboard on top of a 2×4 with an ogee edge. The baseboard is 4.25” so the 2×4 is offset from that creating the rabbit for the mirror. Black and gold paint finished it off. This was fun to get on the wall by myself!

In the mirror you can see some of my other projects. It’s the same as picture number six. The vase in the picture is cherry. This is a project I learned from Steve Good at Good site.
The small clock next to the vase (and shown in picture 2) is cherry with mesquite base. This is a project out of Wood magazine. The shelf that everything is sitting on I made from crown moulding, 1×4, and plywood. The painted the shelf black. I took the picture above the shelf. Then made a simple black frame and matted it.

Picture 3 and 4 are two projects that I have given away. Unfortunately, I tend to forget to take pictures before I give my projects away. Anyhow, the triangle clock is walnut, maple, and oak. I saw a similar project on the internet somewhere, can’t remember where though. The 4th picture is a wine bottle balancer. I saw several other lumberjocks that had made different bottle balancers, so I thought I would give it a try.

I really like that triangle clock. Neat design and looks to be well executed. Thanks for posting.

Nice work on all of those. the wine balancer especially has very nice balance on the wood combination.
