This is a second version of an ornamented piece. The base is Cocobolo, Silver Poplar top and an african blackwood finial with three spears tops it off. The underside of the 24 spoke top cap is ornamented as well as the inside bottom of the piece. I used the base to do a youtube on CA finishes. The base is awesome, if I do say so myself. Looks glass coated.
This replaces one I sold after being on display only one day for $500.00. Nice work if you can get it.
