Hello Lumberjocks, I haven’t been around lately, I’ve been crazy busy.

I just finished up with the dresser and night stand. Now I’m working on the bed. It has a lot of carving on it, I should be done in a couple of months.

The Dresser size is 40” tall x 25 1/4” deep x 74 1/2” long.

It’s made out of solid cherry And cherry veneer core plywood. The drawers are out of solid maple.

It took me approximately 200 hours to carve, build & finish the dresser. Thanks for looking.

Fantastic job. Easy to see why you are so busy.

Whoa. What a piece!!!

I will be completely honest – I got a bed set with a drawer like that (intended for jewelry, etc). Never use it. First, I am not a big jewels person. Second, if I were I would not keep it in a place easily exposed to robbery. Any next clients you should steer them away from such stuff.

Stiill, a wonderful piece. Only 200 hours of carving? You are fast!

Crazy busy is good….and we can see why. Beautiful dresser. Not my style and probably bigger than my bedroom but it’s good to know you have work you enjoy and clients who appreciate talent and beautiful pieces.

Mtkate – maybe those cubby holes are for socks and underwear ?? :) or woodworking tools? oh, wait, if it was for woodworking tools, then it should be locked up for sure!
