This week, I carve a Busted Knuckle Garage sign. I carved it on the X-Carve CNC router and designed the project in Vectric Aspire. I used a 90 degree V-Bit, 1/8” and 1/4” Endmill.

I used a piece of Select White Pine for the sign. After carving on the CNC, done a little hand sanding. Then applied a coat of Minwax Prestain wood conditioner. Let that dry for about 15 minutes, then applied a coat of Rustoleum Kona finish. Wiped off after about 1 minute, and let dry overnight.

After letting dry overnight, lightly sanded over the top. Done a little painting, then let that dry.

I then applied a couple coats of Clear Matte finish on the sign.

Thanks for looking!!!

That is a great looking sign. Nice work!
