This is an alabaster bowl I turned on my wood lathe. I also added some textured carving. 5 1/2in X 12in.

Beautifully done, and the texture areas have added some really interesting detail. Lovely piece of art.
Do you source the alabaster locally?

You have done a fantastic job, Hard ti imagine turning stone on the lathe. Great determination for sure.

I picked up the Alabaster from a supplier in Colorado on my trip! I’d love to find a closer source!
