This week I made some Custom Scrabble letters, on my CNC. I made a placeholder for some 5 1/2” x 5 1/2” x 3/4” squares. Then I ripped some Cabinet grade plywood on the Table saw, inserted those into the CNC and carved away.

The Family, Home and Love tiles, was stained with Natural Wood stain from Minwax, then sprayed a coat of Clear finish and painted the lettering with Black craft paint. The Vols and Home, I painted the squares first with Orange spray paint, after drying, sprayed a couple coats of Gloss Clear finish, then carved the lettering on the CNC. Painted the lettering and resprayed a couple coats of clear.

Nice project- I am impressed with the jig/fixture used in the process of holding the cutthings in place.

They came out great. I can see lots of uses for this. Thank you.
