This is my first attempt at straying away from the pattern. I made one that went by the instruction with the frog being one kind of wood, then I changed the pattern to have the frog multi colored and added the plants on a oak back board. The frog is made out of bloodwood, ebony, and yellowheart. The branch is yellowheart and mohogany.

Very nice indeed, have you thought about making something for the 2010 Summer Woodworking Awards competition? The category is Fluidity and I believe you have already shown you can capture that.

Awesome work, be willing to share some pics of work in progress or want to give some classes on line? I have zero talent when it comes to actual art. You are great at it. I can make from plans and put this square edge to another and make a box or something but real art, it is a Gods gift I am afraid and he passed me over on that.
