This was a custom commission, modeled from a Finewoodworking Mahogany table shown in picture 5. The customer wanted both Cherry and Walnut to be used and to incorporate 2 drawers into the design. I glued the top with dominoes to aid in alignment, I also used dominoes with elongated holes for the breadboard ends due to time and budgetary constraints. I joined each leg to apron with 4 dominoes, this proved to make an extremely strong joint very quickly. I cut the half blind dovetail drawers with a Leigh Super 18 Dovetail Jig.

Finish was Minwax Wipe-on Satin Poly on base and drawers. Brush on satin for the top followed by 2 coats of paste wax.

Beautiful. Love the line of the legs.

Wow, really like it… nice design to work the drawers into the final project. Overall great scale and balance in the size and shape.
