These cabinets and bench I built for neighbors garage last fall. This was my third big wood working project. I built these in exchange for a new scroll saw. He paid for the materials. He loves them since he uses the bench and lights to work on his model planes and electric trains. He is in his late sixtys retired military and you can usually find him sitting in his garage enjoying the tv and working on his models.

I don’t blame your neighbor for spending a lot of time out there.
That is a super nice set up.
Good Job!

A great looking setup. I really like the task lighting, especially for the detail work you stated your friend does. That was a nice thing to do, keep it up. BTKS

looking good on your way to a cool man cave. I did my garage as a man cave on here as well. Nice finish!

Now that’s a cool garage. No reason to go into the house except to sleep.

Good deal for both you and your neighbor. Wish I had a neighbor like that.

Did you make one equally as nice for your own shop? Tell your neighbor I wanna come over and use his nice well lit bench space to do some detailed carving work on…looks to be the right height for me ;~) hehe…
